GOSPEL GUARD
OUR HISTORY
On May 18th 2014, founder Gregory J. Bowser, was ordained into the gospel ministry at the First Assembly of Pentecost in Braceville, OH. With a burden for home and foreign missions he began preaching and teaching the word of God in this church as the opportunities were given.
While driving to church weekly he passed by the Ohio National Guard Camp Ravenna Training Center. As he pondered the comparison of Spiritual warfare with actual warfare, he began preparing a series entitled Believer's Boot Camp. Using illustrations which compared the believer's spiritual training with soldiers preparation for military service, the ministry of GOSPEL GUARD began to unfold.
Many of the operations which are now considered the main outreach for home and foreign missions were developed during the course of his ministry at Braceville church. He established R.O.T.C. (Rescue Ops Training Class) with his Sunday School group of teenagers and introduced them to the Memory Marksman, Sword Master and Combat Competitions that they grew to enjoy. As a result this group of teens have continued to produce ongoing operations in their community.
